Preserving Memories: Mikey and Crystal’s Stunning Floral Keepsakes

At the end of 2022, Mikey and Crystal embarked on a journey to preserve the cherished flowers from their wedding—a bouquet and Hawaiian lei that held immense sentimental value. Their choice to transform these blooms into a series of beautiful keepsakes was truly inspiring, and I’m thrilled to share their story and the array of pieces they selected.

Mikey and Crystal’s wedding bouquet and Hawaiian lei were more than just floral arrangements; they symbolized the love and joy of their special day. Understanding the significance of these pieces, they chose to preserve them in various forms, ensuring that the memories associated with their wedding would be cherished for years to come. Their selection included a serving tray, a candle set, ring holders, and bookends—each piece carefully crafted to showcase the beauty and significance of their preserved flowers.

Meeting with Mikey and Crystal to personally hand off their custom pieces was a highlight of my journey before I moved to California in early 2023. Although they did not open them in front of me their appreciation for the preserved flowers and the unique keepsakes we created together was a testament to the importance they place on these mementos.

Since relocating to Southern California, I’ve been embracing the vibrant floral and wedding industry here. I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients across San Diego, Oceanside, Vista, and Orange County, preserving wedding bouquets and creating meaningful keepsakes. Each project is a new adventure, and I’m finding immense joy in the diversity and creativity that this new area offers.

While I continue to service the Big Island, the experiences and connections I’m building in Southern California are truly enriching. The unique opportunities and beautiful settings here inspire me, and I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to so many memorable moments.
